Welcome to OptikStrategies.com.com (“Site”), a website owned and controlled by Optik Consulting Strategies, LLC (“Optik”). This privacy policy governs the privacy of those who choose to use OptikStrategies.com.
SCOPE
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to the Site in all of its accessible forms including desktop, mobile and tablet. It explains how your information may be collected and used by Optik. By visiting the Site or by submitting to Optik your Personal Information (“PI”), as defined below, you are accepting the policies and practices described in this Policy. You can see when this Policy was last revised by checking the “Effective” date.
COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
Optik collects both information you give it and information Optik gets from your use of this Site. Optik may collect your PI, defined as any information (a) that identifies or can be used to identify, contact or locate you; or, (b) from which your identification or contact information can be derived. PI may include: your first and last name, your home or other address, your email address, your telephone number, or any other information that allows someone to contact you. The PI you provide is used to fulfill your specific requests or to help improve your experience using our Site, such as: sending you communications and administrative emails, responding to your inquiries, or sending you marketing or product updates. Optik also collects non-personal information, such as your computer type, geographic location, demographic information, and any other information that does not reveal your specific identity. If you’re accessing the site from a mobile device, we may collect non-personal information about your device type or the speed of your mobile network. This non-personal information might be used to analyze your use of the Site, to market to you, target advertising to you or to help Optik conduct analysis of the Site’s audience. Collection and use of other non-personal information collected through cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, and similar technologies is detailed below. Your IP Address is a number assigned to your computer through your Internet Service Provider, which is automatically sent to Optik when you visit the Site – as is standard on the Internet. Your IP Address is also logged by Optik when you visit the Site.

Optik uses cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, browser identification, and similar technologies on this Site to help Optik understand how you use this Site, to make this Site better, or to help personalize your experience on this Site or elsewhere. Optik also allows third parties to place cookies on this Site and to collect non-personal information from you. These third parties may collect information from you to market to you, target advertising to you or to help Optik conduct analysis of the Site’s audience. Cookies are traces of information your computer’s web browser collects when you visit a website. If you previously provided PI, cookies may be tied to such information. DISTRIBUTION OF INFORMATION
As noted above, Optik may share your PI or non-personal information with third parties for its own advertising (ad networks like Google or Yahoo), data collection, statistical purposes (website analytics and optimization tools, like Google Analytics or Optimizely), for helping Optik send emails or marketing materials (communications distribution services, like Campaign Monitor or Twil.io), or for customer service purposes. Non-personal information may be collected from you and used to deliver targeted advertising on this Site or on sites external to Optik's Site. To remove your PI from any batch that may be shared on these grounds, you may opt out by contacting Optik at Privacy@OptikStrategies.com Optik may retain some personal information to comply with laws, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce Optik's Terms of Use, or take any other actions otherwise permitted by law. There may also be some residual PI that remains in Optik's databases, access logs, and other records.
Optik may also share your PI and non-personal information with any of Optik's subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control with Optik. Additionally, should Optik merge with another company, acquire another company, or enter into another business transition of this sort, your PI may be among the assets transferred.
Finally, Optik may share information with governmental agencies or other companies assisting it in fraud prevention or investigation. Optik may do so when: (1) permitted or required by law or court order; or, (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions; or, (3) investigating fraud which has already taken place.
FINANCIAL AND SENSITIVE INFORMATION
We do not request, collect or store sensitive information from our visitors, such as credit card or social security numbers.
INTERNET PROTOCOL ADDRESS
We collect an IP address from all visitors to our site. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you access the Internet. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our site, analyze trends, track users’ movement through our site, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use in order for us to improve the site, and deliver customized, personalized content.
EXTERNAL LINKS
Although Optik intends only to include quality, safe and relevant external links, you should always exercise caution before clicking any external web links on the Site. Optik cannot guarantee or verify the contents of any externally linked website despite its best efforts. Users should therefore note that they click on external links at their own risk and neither Optik, nor this Site can be held liable for any damages or implications caused by visiting any external links mentioned.
SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS
Communication, engagement, and other actions taken through external social media platforms that Optik and this Site utilize are governed by the terms and conditions and privacy policies of the applicable social media platform. Optik will not solicit PI through a public channel. Optik asks that you not submit PI through these channels, but to communicate directly with Optik via telephone, email or directly through this Site.
This Site uses social sharing buttons, which help share content directly from web pages to the applicable social media platform. You should use those social sharing buttons at your own discretion, and should note that those social media platforms may be tracking information according to the terms of the applicable platform’s privacy policy and terms of use.
PRIVACY CONTACT INFORMATION AND OPT OUT PROCEDURES
If you have any questions, concerns, or comments about this privacy policy you may email Optik at Privacy@OptikStrategies.com. You may opt out of any marketing related materials or ask that Optik no longer share your PI with third parties by emailing your request to Privacy@OptikStrategies.com. You may review and request changes to your collected PI by contacting Privacy@OptikStrategies.com. Optik will try to comply with your request as soon as is reasonably possible, subject to this Policy. For your protection, Optik will only recognize and implement requests related to the PI related to the email address you use to send your request, and may ask to verify your identity prior to implementing the request. Optik may also need to keep some information, including PI and residual information, for record keeping, our own advertising (ad networks like Google or Yahoo), data collection, statistical purposes (website analytics and optimization tools, like Google Analytics or Optimizely), or for customer service purposes, or other purposes, and will not remove that information. If you opt out as described above, Optik will not be able to update or remove your PI already disclosed to third parties who’ve been provided this information as permitted by this Policy.
DO NOT TRACK
Currently, Optik does not assign a meaning to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.
USE OF THIS SITE BY CHILDREN
This Site is not meant to be used by and is not directed to individuals under the age of thirteen (13), and Optik requests that those individuals under the age of thirteen (13) not provide Optik with PI through this Site.
JURISDICTIONAL ISSUES
Optik does not represent or warrant that this Site, or any part of this Site, is appropriate or available for use in any particular jurisdiction. You access this Site at your own initiative and risk, and you are responsible for complying with all applicable local laws, rules and regulations. In Optik's sole discretion, Optik may limit any or all of the Site’s availability to any person or geographic area at any time. By using this Site and submitting any PI, you consent to the transfer of your PI subject to the terms of this Policy to other countries, including the United States, which may have different data security protections than your country of residence.
Optik reserves the right to change this policy, but will alert you that changes have been made by indicating the new Effective date. To be notified of changes to this policy, submit your email through our contact form in the main menu.
